The Pact of Ouidah.
Our written commitment,
before your first dollar.

You are about to trust thousands of dollars to an organization thousands of miles away. This page exists for one reason: so that trust rests not on words, but on commitments you can verify — written, numbered, refundable.

The process — five named steps

From your first message
to your sealed place.

At every moment you know where you stand, what is committed, and what is still reversible.

01

The Request

You write to us — form or WhatsApp. No commitment, no payment. You tell us where you are starting from and what you are coming to find. An answer within 24 hours, from the NGO's own team in Ouidah.

02

The Exchange

A direct conversation — WhatsApp, call or email, your choice — to understand your intention: spiritual reconnection, memory, family, research. Your program is built from that intention, not from a catalog.

03

The Proposal

You receive a detailed written proposal: day-by-day program, inclusions, price, payment schedule — and the NGO's service contract. Nothing is paid before everything is in writing.

04

The Pact

You confirm with a 30% deposit — fully refundable for 30 days. Official receipt immediately. The balance follows the schedule set in the contract. Every payment goes through a traceable channel: UBA wire, Stripe or Mobile Money.

05

The Circle

Your place is sealed. The preparation begins: invitation letter for your e-visa, a country sheet for your nationality, the choice of your host family, your cohort's group. You do not land in Cotonou as a stranger — you are expected.

The six guarantees of the Pact

What we owe you.
In writing.

The protected deposit

30% to confirm — fully refundable for the 30 days following payment (bookings made more than 60 days before departure). You change your mind: you get everything back, no justification needed.

Cancellation in writing

Beyond the cooling-off window: more than 90 days before departure, everything paid beyond the deposit is refunded; 90-60 days: 50% of the price retained; 60-30 days: 75%; under 30 days: 100%. Documented force majeure: reviewed case by case. Cancellation insurance recommended.

The contract before the money

No payment is requested before the written proposal and the service contract are in your hands. What is not written does not exist — in both directions.

Full traceability

International wire (UBA Benin, account in the name of WA AFRIKI), Visa/Mastercard via Stripe, Mobile Money. Official receipt for every payment. Cash is never required.

Zero hidden solicitation

No request for money outside the contractual framework — an absolute rule of the NGO. The guardians of tradition and the families are paid by us, not by you. Any optional extra is written down and agreed before.

One permanent counterpart

From your first message to your return home, you speak to the same team — in Ouidah, not a call center. Direct WhatsApp throughout your stay, and an emergency protocol with identified medical providers.

Why a pact — and not “terms and conditions”?

Because in Ouidah, the given word binds — it is the foundation of the tradition that carries us. Terms and conditions protect a company. A pact binds two parties who respect each other: you entrust us with your return; we owe you truth, traceability and reversibility. This document is not buried in fine print at the bottom of a page. It stands here, in full light — and it comes with every contract.
