Ideal period for intimate meetings. Bokonons are available. Convents welcome visitors. Benin's dry heat, ideal for contemplation.

Transition season · Earth ritual
The great agricultural ceremonies. Rituals tied to Sakpata and the earth. Abomey and its royal palaces without the crowds.
JULY – AUGUST
Peak season · Ouidah Festival
Regional cultural events. Grand-Popo in its green season. The lagoon at its highest level. Natural spaces at their best.
SEPTEMBER – NOVEMBER
Season of the spirits
Egungun ceremonies intensify. The returned ones are present. A period of high spiritual intensity for those ready to receive it.
