Vision 2030
What We Are Building

Benin has the tradition. It still lacks the infrastructure. Three projects. A call to partners who understand that investing in African culture is the investment of the century.

The starting point

Benin is the world capital of Vodun. Ouidah is the spiritual heart of West Africa. The Slave Route, the Sacred Forests, the Vodun temples, a unique heritage, without equivalent on the continent.

And yet: no physical tourist train. No high-standing eco-lodges. No integrated regional corridor for the diaspora. The circuits exist. The lasting infrastructure has yet to be built.

That is exactly where After Vodundays and ONG Wa Afriki step in. We are not doing tourism. We are building civilizational infrastructure. The difference is fundamental.

Cloboto Tour, The Tourist Train of Ouidah

The Cloboto Tour circuits are already operational, in guided vehicles, with access to Ouidah's 7 major sites, commentary in 4 languages, Vodun mediation provided by ONG Wa Afriki.

The physical train is the next step. The infrastructure to build: a 4 km line along the Slave Route, heritage rolling stock, boarding stations at key sites. An attraction that exists nowhere else in West Africa.

The dossier is open. Entry ticket, legal structure, revenue projections, available on request. The demand already exists: the train will be profitable from year 1.

What exists today

  • Standard Circuit, 2h, available every day
  • Vodun Circuit, 3h, temple access, by reservation
  • 7 connected sites · 4 languages · ONG-certified guides

Project 03Long-term vision

West Africa Corridor, The Diaspora as a Market

The global African diaspora represents 1.3 billion people. It sends 100 billion dollars a year to Africa. It travels to the continent more and more, but rarely with a quality cultural program.

The Senegal-Togo-Benin-Ghana corridor represents four major destinations within a 2,000 km radius. Four countries, four distinct histories, one coherent memorial and spiritual trajectory.

ONG Wa Afriki is working on partnerships with Senegalese and Ghanaian operators to create the first integrated diaspora circuit in West Africa, a product that does not exist today.

Route 1: Senegal-Benin

Dakar → Gorée → flight to Cotonou → Ouidah. Already operable. Local partners being identified.

Route 2: Ghana-Benin

Cape Coast → Accra → flight to Cotonou → Ouidah. Direct flights already exist. Complete memorial and spiritual circuit.

Route 3: Integrated Corridor

Dakar → Accra → Lomé → Cotonou → Ouidah. 14 days. The great journey of the global African diaspora. Horizon 2027-2030.
