The promise

Northern Benin is almost another country. Here begin the great savannahs, the Atacora mountains, unique architecture and free-roaming wildlife. This is true adventure, the one few travellers push all the way.

From Parakou, the Borgou's living capital, to Djougou and its blacksmiths, on to the Tata Somba of the Batammariba country and the Natitingou falls, ending before the elephants of W Park from Kandi. An expedition circuit, demanding and unforgettable, where each stop raises the change of scene by a notch. The night on the roof of a Tata Somba, under the stars, stays etched for years.

The night in a Tata Somba

Sleeping on the terrace of a UNESCO-listed earth castle, welcomed by a Koutammakou family. A shared privilege, not a hotel.

Framed safari

Access to W Park is only through licensed guides, according to the security conditions of the moment. Never promised lightly, always coordinated.

Every night sustains the north

Host families, local guides, camps: the expedition irrigates directly the economy of the communities you meet.
